As the Plateau Man of the Year Awards (PMYA) marks its 11th anniversary, we’re inviting creative designers to craft a new, iconic logo that reflects our values of excellence, achievement, leadership, and community service.

This logo will represent over a decade of celebrating changemakers redefining Plateau State — and will shape the visual identity for the next era of impact and inspiration.

The Challenge

Design a distinctive, timeless, and versatile logo that embodies the spirit of the Plateau Man of the Year Awards.

Your logo should:

✔ Reflect Plateau’s identity, culture, and heritage

✔ Communicate excellence, service, and integrity

✔ Be modern, clean, and scalable across all platforms (digital & print)

Prize Package ₦100,000 Cash Prize

Recognition on PMYA’s official website and social media platforms

Special Award and Cash Presentation at the 11th Plateau Man of the Year Awards and Gala night.

Exclusive Collaboration: The winning designer will also design the new PMYA Award Plaque — the prestigious symbol of excellence presented annually to distinguished achievers across Plateau State.

Design Requirements

Original & Expressive: Must be your own creative work — plagiarism will result in disqualification.

Simple yet Memorable: Distinctive, elegant, and professional for wide applications.

Versatile: Works seamlessly across print, web, merchandise, and stage display.

Submission Format:

JPEG format with presentation mockups

Only the winner will be asked to submit editable source files (AI, PNG, SVG, PDF)

Judging Criteria

A panel of creative experts and PMYA Committee Members will evaluate all submissions based on these standards.

Attach Your Work:

Include your JPEG design and mockup presentations (no source files yet).

15th December 2025

Entries close at midnight (WAT) — late submissions will not be accepted.

Terms & Conditions

Plateau Man of the Year Award (PMYA) Logo Design Challenge

  1. Eligibility

Open to all creative designers and artists in Nigeria — individuals or teams. No entry fee is required.

  1. Originality

All submissions must be original and solely created by the participant. Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement results in immediate disqualification.

  1. Ownership & Rights

The winning logo becomes the exclusive property of PMYA/COA Media.

PMYA reserves the right to adapt, reproduce, and use the logo across all branding materials.

Non-winning entries remain the property of their creators but may be showcased with credit.

  1.  Submission Guidelines

Submit in JPEG format with mockups.

Only the winner will later provide editable files (AI, SVG, PNG, PDF).

Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.

  1. Evaluation

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of creative professionals and PMYA Committee Members.

All decisions are final.

  1. Disqualification

Entries may be disqualified for:

  • Copyright violations
  • Failure to meet standards
  • Offensive or inappropriate content

  1. Publicity

By entering, participants grant PMYA permission to use their names, photos, and works for promotional purposes, both online and offline.

  1. Acceptance

Submitting an entry indicates full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

PMYA reserves the right to modify or update these rules when necessary.
